Goods In/Out

Our client, one of the major distribution centre's in the Chapeltown area, has a vacancy for a Distribution Operative. Your role will be : To locate and pick products in the warehouse ready for dispatch to the their clients. You will be expected to keep the warehouse tidy and maintain accurate records of your picks. Requirements: Ideally you will have similar experience. You must be accurate, neat and fast paced in packing, locating and picking products. You will have knowledge of basic warehouse systems, an understanding of health and safety and basic computer skills. It is also essential that you hold a reach fork lift license. Benefits: This is a permanent position. The standard hours are 8.30-4.30 / 9am -5pm Monday - Friday. You will be expected to work the occasional weekend for stock taking etc... You are able to earn bonus in line with company profits. Please note that you will be expected to undertake an aptitude test and interview to secure this position.
