Our client a leading IT / Software provider to the shipping & freight forwarding industry is looking to recruit an industry professional to join their Help Desk team. Candidates must have a strong freight forwarding or shipping line background and be a confident user of CNS Compass Destin8 and CHIEF along with a good understanding of Customs software / freight management packages such as Impatex Datafreight or FCL. Candidates must have good IT skills and ideally be confident networking PCs adding drivers installing printers and know there way around a PC / Network, not just the basics. This role would suit someone with a passion for IT but who has a good understanding of the shipping industry but wish to advance their career out of but linked to the freight industry, Candidates must have excellent communication skills be able to work under pressure be analytical in their approach.
