Class 1 Driver
Our client is a well known family run transport business in Consett, looking for experienced Class 1 drivers. Main duties will include working both day shift and night shift, making Class 1 trunking deliveries all over the country to different depots.
This position is potentially ongoing to permanent for the right candidate who shows dedication.
Due to insurance purposes the successful candidate needs to be 23 years of age or older, have no more than 6 points on their license and have 2 years valid experience using their Class 1 license. A digi tacho will be required but can drive without one for up to 15 days.
Day shift will pay £7.50 per hour and night shift will pay £8.50 an hour, plus overtime rates after 8 hours of work.
This vacancy is temporary, with a possibility of becoming permanent. It is also ad hoc, short notice work. Location: Consett,Consett,Durham
