You will undertake the safe, secure and efficient movement of plant and equipment required by the business, performing deliveries and collections to and from customer sites, our client's premises and other locations as required.
You will :
Be representing the Company in a professional and courteous manner at all times to customers, the general public and other road users.
Check equipment is loaded/unloaded in a safe manner
Ensure that the total payload does not exceed vehicle weight limits
Use approved methods to secure the load of the vehicle
Check paperwork to that delivery/collection loads are correct
Ensure that all equipment on the vehicle is accounted for
Visually inspect equipment being loaded for delivery or collection
Deliver equipment to customer sites
Ensure only authorised personnel receive and sign for the goods
Collect equipment from customer sites
You must:
Hold a full driving licence valid in the UK
Have previous experience of multi-drop delivery driving
Have a Class 2 HGV/LGV driving licence
Have a Class CE (18 Tonne HIAB vehicle) C/W CPC qualification
Hold a Current HIAB Certificate
Have good spoken and written English
Have a knowledge of legislation affecting commercial vehicle procedures
Be able to carry out manual handling tasks
Salary: £19000.00 - 21000.00 GBP/annual
