HGV/LGV Class 1 Driver Widnes
30 x Experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E Drivers) are required for Ad Hoc temporary ongoing refrigerated store delivery work from our clientA s depot in Widnes. The work can be quite physically demanding as it requires moving cages at each delivery so candidates must be physically fit. Rates of pay are AŁ9.50 - AŁ14.00 per hour, LTD Co drivers are also welcome to apply. Candidates need to be excellent drivers with clean accident records, checkable work history and good references, flexible, friendly, presentable and with a can do attitude. The main duties are Class 1 store deliveries of refrigerated loads to Supermarkets and Express stores throughout the UK. The ability to earn a very healthy wage is possible on this contract as long shifts are likely. All candidates must be prepared to do up to 15 hour shifts (average shifts are 10-12 hours). The client operates vehicles 24/7 so flexibility is a must, however the usual start times for this contract tend to be between midnight and 06.30am and 15.00 21.00. All candidates MUST have a full UK driving licence, counterpart and digital tachograph. C+E must have been held for a minimum of 2 years and experience must be up to date if licence has been held for many years. No more than 6 points for minor offences on licence, no DR, DD, CD, TT or IN codes accepted. Min age for insurance purposes 25+.
