HGV Class II Driver - Full Time Temporary Position
We are currently looking to recruit experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for our client in North Oxfordshire. The applicant must have Tacho experience as well as good knowledge of the road network across the South of England. The ideal candidate will be hard working, reliable and someone who takes pride in a dayA s work. Experience in multi - drop work would be an advantage. This role requires excellent communication skills and a good understanding of written/spoken English. There will be a two day classroom session where you will be trained on our clients SOPA s. After this you would be involved in one week on the job training with a full time employee, where you will learn how to complete their delivery procedure & how to operate their MDT scanners. This work will commence w/c 2nd July 2012 initially for 12 weeks. You will be required to work nights Sun - Thurs one week then Sun - Fri the following week. Approximately 10 hours per day comprising of roughly 4 or 5 deliveries with a Drivers Mate to assist you. Once this period finishes the successful candidates would be invited to continue their good work during the remainder of the year as our client will be experiencing their peak period. This is a good opportunity for plenty of money to be earned with this position and long term work available thereafter. You will be required initially to register with Aligra Personnel, where you will complete paperwork and provide proof of licences, digital tachograph and right to work in the UK. You must have driven a HGV vehicle in the last two years (I or II) and have no more than 6 points on your driving licence. As well as full time work available, we are always looking for weekend only drivers and ad-hoc drivers.
