The Perfect HGV Driver Interview

A lot of drivers forget that to get a HGV driving job, they usually need to complete an interview.

The interview usually looks at the following areas:

• Your HGV driving experience
• Your professional competence
• Your history
• Your future

Your experience is self explanatory. If you have been driving trucks for years, you will have a lot of experience. If not, you will need to try and sell your professional competences and aspirations.

OK so you may not have many aspirations. You may just want a career in driving but your employer needs to see that you have motivation and commitment. They are more likely to employ you if you can demonstrate you are reliable and are going to be sticking around for a while.
